You know you're a printer addict when...

- You look around your room and realise you have more than 15 working printers in it
- You look around your room and realise that there's a further 5 broken printers in it
- You spend more money on printers, inks and parts than you do on socialising
- The delivery guys think they've made a mistake because they already delivered one of these models last week
- The delivery guys tell you that they've another printer for you (even when the box is blank)
- Your other half checks your eBay listings and confronts you over illicit bids rather than wondering who sent that text message last night

.. and the real give away..

- You spend more time on the internet working out how to unclog printheads instead of checking out some of the graphic imagery out there wink

You know you're a printer addict when...
- the term "ambiance" includes sounds of your printer(s) working
- you go through reams of paper (or photo paper) like it's going out of style
- you can identify printer models and you can troubleshoot by the sound of the printer alone
- you windowshop for printers while your wife checks out the latest threads when you guys are at the mall
- you talk about printers with excitement - passionate about Canons and disgust about HPs
- you have a chemist's lab in your house for you to test the latest batch of 3rd-party ink you got from a new supplier
- you go through printers more than you go through PC or automotive parts

You know you're a printer addict when...
- you see InkJet Master under your login name
- your internet connection is down and all you care about is you can't get onto the nifty-stuff forum
- you'd rather post something on the nifty-stuff forum than print something
- you go into a store and check the ink levels of all the Canon printers
- you spend more on re-inking than if you'd just bought OEM cartridges
- you never buy A printer, you always buy two, one for a backup, which is still in the box

Anybody know a cure?

Canon MX700, MP760, MP780, iP4000, i9100, i860 printers.
I used to vacuum fill Canon cartridges with Inktec ink and then I converted to a modified German method but now I use my Freedom Refill Method. It does not modify the cartridge: no holes, no screws, no plugs, no tape. Refilled cartridges look just like OEM.

you know your a printer addict when all you want to do is learn about printers. i mean they can make you a lot of money.
you know your a printer addict when you pull apart a printer and you know somehow your going to break the thing but you go ahead as planned anyway cause you know your going to get a new one and then some, and you really really really need to know how they work, cause you know your gonna put them thru dare devil sprints, marathons, and round the world hurdles and back again and when things go wrong as they sometimes will, it will be then that you wished you were A PRINTER ADDICT cause its pretty nifty stuff

You know you are a printer addict when - your grandson at Uni some 130 miles away has the same printer as you and you fret so much about clogged nozzles that you get your kit together and travel ones errand to his Uni room and give his printer a good clean and head check before heading back home within an hour of arrival.
Never occured that it would be cheaper to buy another printer than to spend the money on fuel for the journey !!!!!!.

Fishermen say "Tight Lines" Why don't we say "Clear Nozzles" ?

May your nozzles be clear
While your output be sharp
Your screen match the profile
Colours true, light or dark

May your paper feed cleanly
And your duplexer not crease
That the printhead runs smoothly
Nor the constant flow cease

Pray your colours not fade
And your partner keep cool
Keep printing for peanuts
And know that we rule

Me? Too much time? Nah.... big_smile
