Did a quick search on this forum and find this thread. http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2736
You may have a dead print head. What events that lead to the b200 error?
Also did a search on google and found a few b200 error cases. No body seem to know what is the problem. Two incidences, which concern me, are related to the MX850 which I purchased 10 days ago.
One guy suggests to reset the iP3300 in fixya.com http://www.fixya.com/support/t691428-canon_pixma_ip3300.

Found an non-English forum on error b200.
Hall0 larsen!
The printer and 8 toggle blinking orange / green, then green for longer
then the printhead is defective.

An Amazon review on a new MX850 with b200 error. Canon supported sent a new print head. http://www.amazon.com/review/ROF3V74PLZ … 3V74PLZPR6
All my search, b200 error indicates a dead print head.

Quick word of warning for you... If the printhead is reported as dead don't try to revive it... Get it the hell out of there fast.
There's a number of reports on here (including one of my own) where the printhead died and took the printer with it... Testing that printhead in another printer killed the second printer too... So be warned..

The simplified service manual for iP4300 is here: http://www.gondack.com.ar/media/useruploads/files/ip4300-ssm.pdf
On page 9 you find a list of service errors. B200 means VH monitor error, and the printhead should be replaced. I wonder if VH means Voltage High/Head? That could mean a short circuit in the printhead, so maybe the main board is ruined as well? It is always a gamble to replace a printhead. You risk the printer burns out the new printhead.
But the printer uses PGI-5/CLI-8 cartridges that have a fair capacity and are easily refillable, and use the same printhead as iP5200 which is much faster than the iP4200, so I consider it one of the best 5 cartridge printers from Canon and I would personally try a new printhead, if a resonably priced unit can be found. The Canon part number for the printhead is QY6-0061, so you can use that in a Google search.
